Who are we?

The Delfingen Foundation is the result of a family history and a spirit of solidarity passed on from generation to generation.

Born in 2007 from the desire of the Streit family, Franco-Swiss managers of the DELFINGEN group, to work for a more responsible globalization, the Foundation is a real link between our coworkers, their families and the ecosystems present around our factories.

During the expansion of the group internationally in the 90s, many coworkers realized the inequalities between peoples. The desire then emerged to act, at our level, on the pillars that seem essential to human dignity: health, housing, education, disability compensation, and environmental protection.

Today, the Foundation acts internationally with Delfingen Group coworkers and local volunteers. We support educational, social and solidarity projects that create opportunities for children, families and communities, wherever we are present.

More than a foundation, it is a shared human adventure: joining forces, transforming lives and building a more just future.

Our missions

The Delfingen Foundation acts wherever the Group is located to meet essential needs and promote the autonomy of people.
Education
We believe that education is the key to breaking the cycle of poverty and creating opportunities for the future. The Foundation provides school materials, supports training and awards grants to enable each child to learn, grow and build a future for themselves.

Health
Access to basic health care is a life-changing experience. Our actions range from vaccination and screening campaigns to the distribution of glasses or medical equipment, so that the most fragile populations can maintain their health and live with dignity.

Environment
Preserving our planet means protecting future generations. We are developing local initiatives to raise awareness and protect the environment, from reforestation to waste reduction actions, to encourage sustainable development wherever the Group is located.

Habitat
A roof is much more than a shelter: it is a condition of safety, dignity and stability. The Foundation participates in the construction, renovation or reconstruction of homes, especially in areas affected by precariousness or natural disasters.

Handicap
Every person has the right to inclusion and autonomy. We support projects that facilitate the daily lives of people with disabilities, from access to specialized education to integration into professional and social life.
